Dr. Baldev Batra is a senior healthcare professional with extensive experience spanning hospital administration, healthcare education, quality systems, and academic leadership. He has spent his career working closely with hospitals and training institutions across India to develop skilled healthcare manpower at scale.
His areas of expertise include:
Dr. Batra is the lead instructor for AIM’s flagship PGDHHM programme and the author of AIM’s published academic materials, including the Sajag Nagrik civic awareness series, published by Centre for Social Reforms (India), New Delhi.
He brings to his teaching not just theoretical knowledge but decades of on-the-ground experience – making his programmes practical, grounded, and immediately applicable in the real world.
Atal Institute of Management and it’s divisions functions as an autonomous educational and professional institution under the administrative control and institutional governance of the Centre for Social Reforms, a duly constituted and legally registered Non-Profit Organization under the applicable laws and regulatory framework of India. The governing organization is registered with the Government of India and is compliant with applicable statutory registrations, including MSME Udyam Registration and other institutional and trust-related regulatory compliances as may be prescribed under prevailing legal provisions.
The overall governance, policy formulation, academic regulation, institutional administration, financial oversight, authorization of programmes, certification framework, strategic collaborations, and operational management of the Institute are vested with and exercised by the duly constituted Governing Board/Board Members under the authority and supervision of the President & Founder Trustee. The Institute exercises independent academic and administrative autonomy in relation to the development, approval, implementation, regulation, and execution of educational, vocational, professional, executive, and research-oriented programmes through online, digital, hybrid, and blended learning mechanisms in accordance with its institutional objectives, governance policies, and applicable regulatory norms.
